Congress Venue and Accessibility 

This page provides information on the EACPT2025 congress facilities and accessibility of the University of Helsinki Main Building. 

1st floor

On the first floor of the Main Building, you will find Entrance Hall (Registration and info), Trainee Award posters (posters A101-), Exhibition area and restaurant.

An accessible entrance is located at the far left of the Fabianinkatu 33 entrance. Registration and info services are available on the right-hand side of the entrance hall.

2nd floor

On the second floor of the Main Building, you will find the entrance from the Senate Square side, the Great Hall, the Auditorium, Poster exhibition area for posters P201-, and staff restaurant. The Auditorium and posters area are located on the Fabianinkatu side. The Great Hall, is located on the Senate Square side. Staff restaurant is located along the connecting corridor on the Aleksanterinkatu side. 

GREAT HALL

Seating capacity: 700

Accessibility: Partially unaccessible

AUDITORIUM

Seating capacity: 490

Accessibility: Partially unaccessible

An accessible lift is available at the end of the corridor on the right from the Unioninkatu entrance at Senate Square. From the same location, a corridor connects to the facilities on the Fabianinkatu side and to an accessible WC. The corridor on the left can also be used to access the Fabianinkatu facilities. 

An accessible entrance to the Great Hall is available in the foyer on the right.

You can reach the Auditorium through the connecting corridor to the facilities on the Fabianinkatu side. The Auditorium itself is accessed via a short flight of stairs. A wheelchair lift is available at the Yliopistonkatu end of the building (at the stairs on the left when looking towards the Auditorium).

3rd floor

On the third floor of the Main Building, you will find the Speaker Ready Room, Tekla Hultin Hall and poster exhibition area for posters P301-.

There is no access between the Unioninkatu and Fabianinkatu facilities on the third floor. Access between the two sides of the building is available on the first and second floors only. Both sides have an accessible lift at the Yliopistonkatu end. Accessible entrance to the Speaker Ready Room is available from the central doors on the Fabianinkatu side. An accessible WC is located at the Yliopistonkatu end on the Fabianinkatu side.

4th floor

On the fourth floor of the Main Building, you will find the Small Hall and poster exhibition area for posters P401-.

SMALL HALL

Seating capacity: 200

Accessibility: Accessible

Guidance: Fabianinkatu 33, 4th floor

There is no access between the Unioninkatu and Fabianinkatu facilities on the fourth floor. Access between the two sides of the building is available on the first and second floor. Both sides have an accessible lift at the Yliopistonkatu end. 

Accessible entrance to the Small Hall is located on the Fabianinkatu side of the building. The Small Hall itself is accessed via a short flight of stairs. The stairs are equipped with a wheelchair lift. An accessible WC is located next to the accessible lift on the Fabianinkatu side.
