The Scientific Program Committee hereby announces Call for Symposia and Round table sessions to the NCP2021. The theme of the congress is “Connecting Minds”.

The main goal for a symposium is to present and highlight new research on specific scientific or clinically relevant topics related to mental disorders and mental health. We encourage transnational symposia and round tables.

We encourage submission of symposia within all clinical and scientific fields of relevance for psychiatry, including but not limited to general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, social psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. We invite symposia focusing on basic research and special areas, crossing domains of disorders, addressing themes in basic research and clinical practice, intervention studies, mental health services research, population mental health, cultural psychiatry, education in psychiatry etc. We also invite educational sessions related to training of clinical skills in psychiatry.

A symposium lasts for 1,5 to 2 hours and includes 3 to 5 presentations, typically 20 to 30 minutes each (including audience questions and discussion).

A round table session focuses on discussions on timely topics, including scientific debates, case studies, organisation of mental health services etc. A round table session lasts for 1 or 2 hours.
