Welcome to the 6th Nordic Conference on Feeding Difficulties in Children, in Helsinki!
Please note the venue change! The new venue is Crowne Plaza Helsinki hotel.
Dear Colleagues and Co-workers,
The Nordic Network on Children with Feeding Disorders and the local organizing committee Soty ry (The Finnish Association on Orofacial Therapy) are pleased to invite you to the 6th Nordic Conference on Feeding Difficulties in Children August 29 – 30, 2019. The conference will be hosted at Crowne Plaza Helsinki-Hesperia, Mannerheimintie 50, Helsinki – Finland. The target group of the conference consists of scientists and clinicians working with infants and children with feeding disorders, of parents of these children, and of other interested people from the Nordic countries and outside.
The topics of the conference focus on development of the sense of taste and on guiding the parents to overcome feeding problems in infants and children.
We want to create a forum for enthusiastic interaction between people representing varied disciplines and to bring into discussion fresh perspectives to intervention practices used in different countries. We also wish that this meeting is an opportunity to build personal contacts and networks between people with the same interests, as well as to get to know Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
We are honoured to have Sophie Nicklaus as keynote speaker. She is a research Director at French National Institute for Agricultural Research | Centre des Sciences du Goût et de l’Alimentation (CSGA) and leader of a research team named "Determinants of eating behaviour across the lifespan, relationships with health".
