There are several volunteer tasks to choose from!

You do not need any preliminary experience for any of the tasks.
The needed skills will be taught before the Congress during our volunteer info.

Welcome and assist speakers, VIPs, and press with registration. Handle press registrations by checking IDs and printing badges, and assist with speaker registrations as needed. Direct speakers to the speaker preview room.

Distribute congress materials to attendees in exchange for their voucher. Assist with luggage storage on the last day of the congress.

Guide attendees to the appropriate registration counter based on their needs. Make sure the Congress app is downloaded and ensure a smooth and positive experience for all delegates by being polite, helpful, and intuitive.

Assist participants who have not pre-registered with the registration process, including payments and verification of student status. Use the registration software to enter payments and reprint badges as necessary.

Assist pre-registered delegates with printing badges, making name changes, and reprinting lost or forgotten badges. Help those without QR codes or who need to provide proof for reduced fees.

Ensure that only delegates with proper badges enter specific areas and scan badges for CPD point tracking. You will be stationed at session doors, scanning badges before, during, and shortly after the session start time.
You will be located at the session door 30 minutes before the session starts. You will scan from 30 minutes before the session until the end of the session.

Assist delegates in using the terminals to print their name badges using a QR code. If issues arise, direct them to the Registration Assistance Counter. Provide lanyards and direct them to the Congress Material Counter.

Welcome speakers and assist them with uploading their presentations. Prioritize speakers in a rush to ensure sessions start on time.

Assist participants with questions about viewing and searching for specific e-posters. After training, provide support in navigating the e-poster system.
Support oral presentation speakers with slides and microphone.

Assist in any miscellaneous tasks!

NOTE! The following tasks are before the actual Congress days. Some continue during Congress.

We need volunteers for all Congress days, and also before the Congress!
As June 2025 is still far away, we understand your plans may change, but please give us your best guess of the days you would be available for volunteering.
We will contact volunteers early spring 2025 to re-check the dates.
We aim to offer both full day and half day shifts, so please mark also the days when you can spare only half a day for volunteering. 

If you speak other languages, please let us know!
As attendees come from all over the world, all language skills are considered a plus.

Want to become a Team Leader for volunteers?
A Team Leader will be the contact person for a group of volunteers. Team Leader makes sure everyone is in the right place at the right time, and knows what they are doing.  Team Leader will help out his/her own group whatever help is needed!
So if you are organised, punctual and like to keep track of things, then you could be our Team Leader!
