The registration fees are invoiced by Confedent International (VAT reg. nr. FI0799293-8) on behalf of the organiser for the ETMU Conference 2025, University of Helsinki (VAT reg. nr. FI0313471-7) that is exempted from VAT.

The organisers reserve the right to produce a list of participants to be given out to the registered participants at the event or a list for their own marketing purposes. The list would include first name, last name, organisation and country.

Social Programme

ETMU Conference 2025 Dinner will be held at Restaurant Marga (Unioninkatu 27) and a dinner ticket costs 45€/person.

After choosing a ticket you are required to choose a menu from meat, fish and vegan options.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

To ensure that you enjoy the catered functions, kindly advise any special dietary requirements above. Please only enter dietary requirements that are essential for your health and wellbeing. 

NOTE: Registration to the conference includes coffee and tea only. Allergies and other dietary requirements listed here will be forwarded to the dinner restaurant.

Invoicing Address

The payment options are online payment (Visa, Mastercard, GooglePay) and payment against invoice (wire transfer). 

If you are paying online you do not have to fill in the invoicing address unless you need it to show up on receipt. 

If you wish to pay against invoice, kindly fill in the invoicing address fields and your invoice reference (if required). The invoice will be sent to your e-mail as a PDF document and EUR 19 invoicing fee will be added to the invoice. 

Finnish participants can request an e-invoice (verkkolasku) by giving their full e-invoicing information (needed: OVT, vat reg/y-tunnus, operator) in the invoicing address fields and EUR 19 invoicing fee will be added to the e-invoice as well.

Summary

Terms and Conditions
Registration is binding and non-refundable. Denial of a visa application to Finland and/or the Schengen area does not entitle a participant to any refunds. There will be no refunds made for participant no-shows. The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the Conference. The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind so please check the validity and coverage of your own travel insurance. The organisers do not take responsibility for force majeure reasons for the cancellation of the event (natural disaster, an outbreak of severe contagious diseases, major strikes, etc.). In such a case, the organizing committee reserves the right to decide about refunding paid registration fees.

Payment

If you choose the invoicing option (wire transfer), we will send you a PDF-invoice by e-mail (or an e-invoice if requested for Finnish institutions) with the invoicing address you have given on the invoicing details page. The invoicing fee (EUR 19) will be added to the total amount invoiced.

To pay online, please choose "Online payment". Clicking "Proceed to pay" will enable you to pay by GooglePay or a credit card (Visa, Mastercard).

You will get a receipt of each payment type after the payment is processed.

NOTE! If your credit card payment fails, please contact your card issuer or check amount/international transaction limits applied to your card before trying again.
