Jukka Aaltonen
Jukka Aaltonen (M.D., Ph.D. (medicine), B.A. (social sciences) has worked several decades as a clinical psychotherapist, psychotherapy teacher, and university researcher in the fields of family therapy, psychodynamic individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis both in Finland and several foreign countries.
Currently he is working in private practice and as a teacher of psychodynamic individual psychotherapy.He has worked as the university professor of clinical psychology (family therapy) at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. His main publications are in the field of the Need-Adapted Approach to the most severe mental health disorders. He is, also, an associate editor of international Psychosis-journal.
