Basic Course in Measurement Uncertainty (November 10 - 11, 2026) 

 

Our basic course is a two-day course, where during the first day you will familiarize yourself with the principles of measurement uncertainty and practice what you have learned with the help of a few simple calculation examples. The second day is a calculation day, which includes a wide selection of different calculation exercises focusing on the application of different areas of uncertainty calculation.

The registration fees are invoiced by Confedent International (VAT reg. nr. FI0799293-8) on behalf of VTT (VAT reg. nr. FI2647375-4)

 

Note: VTT can decide to move the date of the course if not enough participants have been received by the last day of registration.

Invoicing Address (if needed)

The payment options are payment by credit card, Google Pay or against invoice. If you wish to pay against invoice, please fill in the complete invoicing address and reference (if needed). The invoice will be sent to your email as a PDF document. Finnish companies can request an e-invoice (verkkolasku) by giving their e-invoicing information (VAT/y-tunnus, OVT-tunnus, operaattori) in the invoicing address fields. 19 € invoicing fee will be added to the invoice.  

Dietary Requirements for onsite participants

Please only enter strict dietary requirements that are essential to your health and wellbeing (e.g. food allergy). You can choose more than one option.

If your dietary requirement is not listed, select "other" and fill in the information in the text box that appears.

Payment

To pay by credit card or Google Pay, please choose "Online payment", "Proceed to Payment" and add your payment card details or login to your Google Pay account and do the payment. The connection is secure between the registration system and the payment service provider. After the payment you can submit the form.

If you choose the invoicing option, we will send you an invoice with the invoicing address you have given on the first page and add the invoicing fee (EUR 19) to the amount invoiced.

Cancellation terms
 
For cancellations made no later than one week before the start of the course, the paid participation fee will be refunded. When paying by invoice, the billing surcharge is not refunded.
If the cancellation is not made, the payments will not be refunded. Non-payment is not cancellation.

The participation fee does not include travel or other insurance, so please check the validity and coverage of your own insurance.

All cancellations and changes must be notified in writing to Confedent International at the address vtt@confedent.fi.
